That is so cool..Now all I want to see is that a bed have wheels so it can move from one room to another! All with a wireless remote. And maybe one that lowers the arm rest bars to make access easy as possible.

She's a slight woman...weighing in at about 111 lbs, but after everything that accompanies major surgery, she's just getting back on her feet again. Unfortunately, she's lost quite a bit of weight and she's a little weak, but this item has allowed her to work aerobically while remaining in a seated position. Our ultimate goal is to get her up and walking around the block...she was able to do that pre-surgery. But until then, the Pedal Exerciser has been a huge help in getting her mobility and respiration up.

Thanks. This one has wheels hidden inside its telescopic legs which are electronically lowered for movement. Controls also have a standards compliant interface allowing them to be used with automated room control systems. There is also a version with larger wheels for travelling further distance, eg outside on sunny days (not that often here in UK) – its called a Volker S380.

The "stirups" are clumsy to use and difficult for a "senior" to bend enough to attach them. It moves around too much (on carpeting) when the knob is tightened and makes an irritating squeeking sound.

Hi,
These beds have 2 year parts warranty. Very high quality components with newer ones having motors developed by Porsche. In demanding care home / environments where they receive more use (and misuse/abuse from care home staff) their working life exceeds 10 years. When used in users homes for homecare they last longer. We recommend an annual service though to keep things moving. Service details and downloads from support section of bakare beds website.

Review by Chris W. for Digital Mobility Aid Pedal Exerciser for Arms & Legs Rating: The machine itself is built sturdy and works just fine, a few draw backs to this product.

one being the packaging it was shipped in, it had nothing to really protect the machine while shipping when i got mine the control knob was broken into pieces, It still had a large enough piece to grab to adjust it so it wasn't too bad, I was able to glue it back together.

It has a god awful metal against metal screech when using it on a higher level of resistance, it is easily fixed by opening it up and adding some oil to the belt and metal wheel, once it is oiled the sound isn't noticeable.

The rubber grips are pretty much useless on anything but a carpet, once you start peddling at a faster speed it just starts moving.

The frame is very light weight which does cause another issue when peddling since at times you can life up one side of it and start moving, adding a little weight to the end helps with this.

It is still better than some other ones out there and at a fair price, if you can set up your environment to use this product then it should work just fine.

Hi great video – great product. I have heard that Hampshire County Council bought 1,100 of these beds from you against several other suppliers – why was this? also I have heard these are very popular in independent living situations – could you tell me about your service – is it national?
